JUSTSEAFARERS is a limited liability company registered in the Republic of Cyprus with registration number HE: 441158 and registered address at YPOPLOIARCHOU NICOLA GEORGIOU 12, 4008, LIMASSOL, CYPRUS, which for the purposes of this Privacy Policy will be referred as JUSTSEAFARERS or ‘Data Controller’.

JUSTSEAFARERS is an online platform used by physical or legal entities that are interested in the nautical field and more specifically for those who are interested to employ or be employed

This Privacy Policy aims to help the User (hereinafter ‘the user’ or ‘you’) understand what personal data is collected and processed, how its protected, how JUSTSEAFARERS use it and what rights are made available to you regarding your personal data by using our website www.justseafarers.com.

This Privacy Policy is governed and is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) and the applicable Data Protection Laws of the Republic of Cyprus (hereinafter “the Law”).

JUSTSEAFARERS does not collect or process Personal Data of children without prior consent from their parents or legal guardian.

Our website collects data that are submitted by you for the purpose of creating a profile that is accessible to prospective employees. The Data that we collect are those that are required for the completion of the application for creation of your profile and CV, which are the following personal data name and surname, gender, date of birth, residential address, mobile phone number, email, academic qualifications and name of previous employees (where applicable).
Upon completion of details for the creation of your CV, our website will also require completing biometrics, such as height and weight for calculating the Body Mass Index (BMI). This field is optional and by completing such details you give your consent these personal data to be processed by our website and shared with prospective employers, who have an account with our website.
Our website does not knowingly collect sensitive data, which include information revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or similar beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health conditions, sexual life, sexual orientation, biometric or genetic data.

 

3. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We use your personal data to perform our services to the highest standard possible and to offer to you and our clients the best quality of our services.

Your Personal Data may sometimes be shared or made accessible to Third Parties, including our employees or affiliates that need access to fulfil the purposes set out above or other service providers, including but not limited to IT service providers that support our services.

7. DISCLOSURE TO THRID PARTIEs

This aggregate information does not include your personal information.

 

8. TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE EUROPEAN UNION

JUSTSEAFARERS generally does not transfer your Personal Data to countries outside of EU and EEA (‘Third Countries’), except where required by the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
